He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Zdonski; his mother Laura Sampson; his daughter Terry Cranston; and his siblings, Joan Zimmerman, Jean Napolitano and George Sampson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Regan (Jim) and Carolyn Grier (Jim) of Fuquay-Varina, N. C.; his son-in-law John Cranston; his grandchildren, Mark Grier (Meredith), Champlin, Minn, Thomas Grier (Ben Murphy), Brian Grier, Novi, Mich, Kayla Regan, Champigneulles, France, Claire Leick (Seth), Sunol, Calif and Josh Cranston of Pensacola, Fla.; and his great grandchildren, Madelynn, Dominic and Jayce. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
