He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Huda; his parents, William Bonczek and Gertrude Trudnowski Bonczek; his daughter Lisa Bonczek; and his brothers, Paul and Richard Bonczek.
He is survived by: his son Robert Bonczek (Becki Appel); his granddaughter Nicole Turano (Richard); his great grandchildren, Emma Goble, Jacob Turano and Marlee Turano; his sisters, Irene Borawski and Shirley Prazych; his siblings-in-law, Dirkje Bonczek and Thomas Prazych; and his caregivers, Amy, Tina and Colleen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
