He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alice Ryan and James Ryan; his wife Anita Ryan; his children, Ronald Ryan, Robert Ryan, Jr., Erin Panfile and Sean Ryan; his grandchildren, Danny, Michael, Thomas, Nicholas, Alexyss, Morgan, Andrea, Christopher and Caley; his daughters-in-law, Jessica Lopez and Joanne Ryan; and his brother James Ryan.
