He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Stanavitch and Mary Kudrich Stanavitch; and his siblings, Edward R. Stanavitch and Elizabeth Deba. He is survived by: his wife Althea J. Polito; his daughters, Christine Stanavitch of Scranton, MaryAnne Stanavitch (Jim Nelson) of Scranton and Kathryn Stanavitch (Richard Krayer) of Scranton; his grandchildren, Timothy Jones (Debra), Joseph Stanavitch of Scranton, Britni Leonard (Jake) of Peckville and Mathiew Stanavitch of Scranton; his great grandchildren, CJ, Timothy, Aurora Jones of Scranton and Ellie Leonard of Peckville; and his brother Eugene Stanavitch of Scranton.
