He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth A. Tully; his parents, John Tully and Mary Tully (Williams); his daughter-in-law Marcia Tully; and his siblings, William, Jack, Robert, Margaret and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his children, Paulette Karlavige (Joseph) of Dickson City, Patricia A. Pronko (John) of Scott Twp and Russell Tully of New River, Ariz.; his grandchildren, Joseph Karlavige (Sue Ann), William Karlavige, Keith Karlavige (Jennifer), Russell Hiller (Briana) and Holly Ann Moscatiello (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Bryn, Timothy, Kaelynn, Allie, Molly, Ruby and Russell Jr. Russell.
