She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Sawchak; and her aunt Alice Olympia Becker. She is survived by: her mother Mary Ann Sawchak; her wife Renee Weiss; her sisters, Christine Sawchak Cohen (Laurie Stanton) of Moosic and Kimberly Sawchak D'Andrea (Jeffrey D'Andrea); and her nieces, Devon, Cameron D'Andrea, Madeleine, Rose Cohen, Brianna and Morgan Weiss.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Human Rights Campaign, St. Jude's Children's Fund, and/or the Ukrainian Relief Fund.
