We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2025, at the age of 81, Thomas Spott of Scranton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Thomas has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Spott and Jeannette Williams Spott; his brothers, Matthew and Frederick; his mother-in-law Madeline Mariano; and his sister-in-law Ann Spott.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sister Jeanne Barnes; and his sister-in-law MaryAnn Spott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM at the Savino Traditional Funerals and Cremation Care (157 S Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
