He was predeceased by : his stepmother Patricia Bernat; and his siblings, Barbara Keeny, Mary Spencer and James Long. He is survived by : his parents, Thomas J. Bernat, Sr. and Nancy Yocum; and his siblings, Sharon Szumowski, Joseph Bernat, Joanne Marcellina, Vanessa Rosa, Hope Long and Timothy Long. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
