We bid farewell to Patricia L. Sheffer (Seneca, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 20, 2025 at the age of 95. Patricia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jack Lane and Bernice West Lane; her spouse Merle Sheffer; her brother Jack Lane; her nephew Eddie Lane; and her niece Eleanor Lewis.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Adam Sheffer, Benis Carnes, Grace LaConte, Susan Holtzscher, Leah Klint, Sarah West, Caitlin Kainz, Melissa West and Lorilee West; her sister-in-law Pauline Lane; and also, David West (Kathy) of Temperance, Michigan, Rebecca Carnes of Aurora, Colorado and Thomas West of Oil City. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hile-Best Funeral Home (2781 PA-257, Seneca, PA 16346). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to a church or Christian ministry of one's choice.
