He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Jean Godfrey (Holloway); his parents, James E. Godfrey, Jr. and Esther V. Godfrey (Stough); his son-in-law Keith Kunkle; and his brother Samuel Godfrey.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Kunkle, Jeanie Falkenroth (Sam) and Rodger Godfrey (Linda); his stepchildren, Charles Bales (Jeannine), Joyce Ruppert and Vickie Fizer; and his siblings, Arthur Godfrey, James Godfrey III, John Godfrey, Daniel Godfrey, Paul Godfrey, Shirley Brenneman, Kathy Yohe and Charlotte Smith. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beck Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (175 N Main St, Spring Grove, PA 17362). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (175 N Main St, Spring Grove, PA 17362).
