As Ronald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ronald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Dowell and Alma Dowell (Rodkey); and his son Thomas Dowell. He is survived by: his sister Joan Danfelt; and his children, Cynthia Criswell (Gary), Patricia McKinney (Allen), James Dowell (Cindy) and Melissa Dodge (Steven). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (1708 Seitzville Rd, Seven Valleys, PA 17360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to either Masonic Village Hospice, 98 Masonic Drive, Suite 101, Elizabethtown, PA 17022; or St. Peter's Church, 1708 Seitzville Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360.
