She was predeceased by: her parents, Estella Helena and Frank Edward Suran; her husband Charles Edward Jacobs; and her sister Marlene Suran Davis. She is survived by: her children, Laura Jacobs Smith of Charlottesville, VA, Peter Suran Jacobs and Brian Charles Jacobs of Ambridge, PA; her grandchildren, Charlie Reed Smith (Anna) of Charlottesville, VA, Andrew Walker Smith (Anna) of Watkinsville, GA, Reese Charles Jacobs (Gabrielle) of Martinsburg, WV, Catherine Grace Smith of Charlottesville, VA, Anna Estella Jacobs, Elizabeth Cordelia Jacobs and Claire Helena Jacobs; and her great grandchildren, Campbell, Mary Scott, Frances and Merritt.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sewickley Presbyterian Church (414 Grant St, Sewickley, PA 15143).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sewickley Presbyterian Church Music Ministry, the Cordelia Suran Jacobs Endowed Scholarship at Chatham University, or a charity of one's choosing.
