He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Schirnhofer and Richard (Ann); and his stepbrother Jack Foley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Schirnhofer; his children, Sarah Hunt (Thomas) and Cory Schirnhofer (Alana); his brother Tom Schirnhofer; his sibling's children, Tommy and Lindsay; and his grandson Hayden. He is also survived by many in laws, nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas & Sons F. H. & Cremation (1600 Stone Mansion Dr, Sewickley, PA 15143).
