It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert DeMarte (Sewickley, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Jaycik Roznowski, Cameron Lowe, Kolson Monper, Brady Pierson and Brantley Pierson.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen DeMarte (O'Hare); his children, Kelly DeMarte (Jeff Wanker) and Cindy DeMarte (Wayne McElhaney); his grandchildren, Nikki Pierson (Mark Lowe), Bobby Pierson (Pam), Kevin Monper (Kelly) and Jason Monper (Marissa); his sisters, Patricia DeMarte (Cass Sauvageau) and Vicki Munz (Al); and his brother-in-law Patrick O'Hare (late Cecilia). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church.
