He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pavlis and Mary Pavlis. He is survived by: his wife Esther Rovitto Pavlis; his daughters, Donna Jean Pavlis and Susan Marie Verbanic (Pavlis); his grandson Christopher Robert Verbanic; his siblings, Joseph Pavlis and Marion Buterbaugh; and his in-laws, Vincent S. and Angeline Rovitto. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. D. Copeland LTD-Irvine Chapel (702 Beaver St, Sewickley, PA 15143). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (200 Walnut St, Sewickley, PA 15143).
