He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Thomas and Rita Marie Gerle (Grossi); his wife Shelley Gerle (Steup); and his children, Carrie Wissner (Michael), Jason Gerle, Sr. (Hannah), Erin Gerle, Abbie Gerle McMaster and Lacey Ferrante (Bryan). He was also cherished by brother, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
