He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kyzer and Cora Kimble Kyzer. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Kyzer of Shade Gap, PA; his children, Terry Kyzer of Camp Hill, PA, Lester Kyzer of York Springs, PA and Cynthia O'lmelia of Shade Gap, PA; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Aime, Ben and Michelle. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home (322 N 2nd St, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fair Ridge Cemetery (22776 Piper Ln, Shade Gap, PA 17255).

“We all were sad to hear of Uncle Boots passing but also know that he is at peace. He is with Jesus, grandmomma, granddaddy and his brothers and sisters. Phyllis, if you need anything any of us (the Turner family) can help you with please let us know. I loved when he came to visit momma as I could visit with him also. That is how I will remember him. Sitting at her table talking with him. We will be praying for peace and comfort for you, Terry, Lester and Cindy. Love to you all.”
