He was predeceased by: his parents, James Benton and Martha Benton; and his sister Ruby Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Baldwin; his grandson Derik; his sons, Greg (Karen) and Tim; and his granddaughter Stephanie. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
