He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Meier and Margaret Meier (Mitch); his wife Mary Ellen Bicek of Joseph's Church; and his brothers, Frederick (Kay) and Thomas Meier.

He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Binns (Steven) of Hudson, OH, Kathryn Meier (Jeremy Mitchem) of Fort Mill, SC and Maureen Meier of Fort Mill, SC; his grandchildren, Peyton, Ella Binns, Grady, Brody Mitchem, Emery and Marley Mitchem; and his siblings, Margaret Wong (Paul) and Jeffrey Meier (Denise).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Buhl Park, 715 Hazen Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.
