We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 92, Ruth A. Alford-Pickett (Sharon, Pennsylvania), born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth A. Alford-Pickett to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by : her husband George C. Pickett of Meadville, PA; her children, William "Bill" Pickett of Conneaut, OH and Javerna Pickett-Chapman of Jonesboro, GA; her daughter-in-law Jonita Simmers of Sharon, PA; her grandchildren, Aaron "Mikey" Evans (Alicia), D'Ondrea Ruth Pickett of Sharon, PA and Ja'Nyce "Noelle" Pickett; and her siblings, Lois Alford-Alexander, Doris Alford-Wesley, Henry Alford, Robert Alford and Len Alford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ruth African Methodist Episcopal Church (95 W Connelly Blvd, Sharon, PA 16146). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
