It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Puhala of Sharon, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though William may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his niece Kathleen Phillips (Kelley). He is survived by: his wife Katherine Puhala (Martell) of Sharon; his children, Dan Puhala (Lisa Puhala) of Pittsburgh, PA and Sarah Puhala (Matthew Peterson) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandsons, Nicholas and Lucas Puhala; his sister Gerri Kelley (Patrick); and his brother-in-law Robert Martell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shenango Vally Baptist Church (40 S Neshannock Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148).
