She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. William Scott and Fannie Mae Scott (Arnold); her former husband William Altman, Sr.; her siblings, Mae Frances Wiley (Butch), Cecil, Larry and Lawrence Scott; and her nephews, Richard and Peter Roye.
She is survived by: her children, William "Billy" Altman, Jr. (Melissa Smith), Charles Williams, Ebony Paige (Arthur), MaryAnn Williams and Jodi Williams; her sisters, Rosa Dammond (Amos) and Lawanda Jones; and her grandchildren, William, III (Amanda), Tayonna, Mykel, Marquis, Andray, Tyrese, Sakwan (Ashley), Lannia (Brennon), Michael, Takeyah, Ramiero, Dewayne, Devonte (Shuarri) and Kevale. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
