He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Zappa and Dolphine Zappa (Smith); and his siblings, Patricia Sabatino, Edward "Dempsey" and Louis "Butch" Zappa.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wagner; his daughter Erika Bolt (Jeff) of Sharpsville; his granddaughter Bella Zappa; his sisters, Virginia "Ginger" Shufflebarger (Earl) of Mentor, OH and Eleanor Manning of Sagamore Hills, OH; and his sisters-in-law, Bernie Zappa of Hermitage and Elaine Zappa of Lisbon, OH..
