He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Espenschied and Herbert Espenschied; and his aunts and uncles, Ruth, Gail, Peggy, Herm, Paul and Atlee.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kovalchick; his children, Donald and Amy; his son-in-law Jeff; and his granddaughters, Dr. Payton Lepore and Bella Lepore.
