It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Yanchick III of Shavertown, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Jr. Yanchick and Charlotte M. Yanchick (Roth). He is survived by : his cousin Lloyd Smith; his siblings, Daryl Ann Gower of Gilbert, Jean L. Mack (David) of Delaware, OH, Carol M. Herfurth (Louis) of Gilbert and Jerome M. Yanchick of Kunkletown; and his close friend Donna Monahan of Wilkes-Barre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1402 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
