Doris Reefer Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Wright and Harriet Wright (Held); her husband Homer Eugene Reefer; her grandson Brian J. Chapman; her great grandchild Anthony J. Reefer; and her siblings, Ralph S. Wright, Arthur J. Wright, Alvin E. Wright, Delbert M. Wright, Lester Wright, Isabel Ramer and Helen M. Beer.

She is survived by: her children, James G. Reefer (Roberta) of Shelocta, Clair E. Reefer (Patricia) of Shelocta and Harriet E. Shaulis (Kenneth) of Saltsburg; and her sister-in-law Betty Wright of Ford City. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc. (238 S Main St, Elderton, PA 16023). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Clark Chapel Funeral Home.
