Shirely A. Claypool Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, at the age of 93, Shirely A. Claypool of Shelocta, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmus A. and Mary J. Rhodes (Grossheim); her husband Todd J. Claypool; her son Donald Miller; her granddaughter Jamie Gray; and her brother Robert E. Rhodes.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth "Betty" McKee of Shelocta; her grandchildren, Mary McKee, Ryan Miller (Emily) and Erica Cope (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Addison, Sadie, Lucy, Kaiden and Lilly.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Lutheran Church (2264 Garretts Run Rd, Ford City, PA 16226).
