He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Ginger" Young Melzer; his children, Terry Balsamo (Robert) of Scottsdale, AZ and James "Jay" Melzer (Debra) of Everett, PA; and his sister Dorothy "Dot" Mraz of Georgia.
