He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton G. Lutz and Laura Lutz (Kennedy); his pet Ben; and his brother Edward G. Lutz. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Lutz (Dougherty); his children, Deborah Thomas (Thomas), Shenango Twp, Kathleen Strizzi (Patrick) of Monroe, NC, Mary Beth Albertini and John Lutz (Deanna) of Hampstead, NC; and his grandchildren, Tommy Thomas, Adrienne Rodgers, Matt Thomas, Michael Albertini, Vincent Albertini (Sarah) and Addison Lutz. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (111 W Falls St, New Castle, PA 16101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
