He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Lance (Nail) and Hilderbert Lance; his stepmother Shirley Hatch; and his in-laws, Carol and Matt Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lance (O'Donnell); his children, Michael Lance (Brandi), Tim Wellhausen and Becca Lance (Jim Coho); his siblings, David, Stephen Lance, Gloria Boggs (Kevin) and Anna Mae Wilt (Sam); his stepsiblings, Cindy Melley (Dan), William Wagner (Susan), David Wagner (Bonnie) and Terry Wagner; his pets, Toby, Willie and Little Bit; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Cian, Carter, Sylvia and Gabriel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
