It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry Schreffler of Sheppton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schreffler and Ruth Everett Schreffler; and his sisters, Betty Schreffler Laucks, Marie Schreffler Everett and Gail Schreffler.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Davidson Schreffler; his children, John Schreffler (Carolyn Vito Schreffler) of Downingtown, PA and Kristi Schreffler Piaskowski (Aaron Piaskowski) of Ringtown, PA.; his grandchildren, Makenna Piaskowski, Isabel Schreffler, Logan Schreffler and Jack Schreffler; and his brothers, Jim Schreffler and Robert Lynn Schreffler (Teri Schreffler). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home (412 W Main St, Ringtown, PA 17967-9544). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church (37 Faux Hill Rd, Zion Grove, PA 17985).
