He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Zawatski and Jaqueline Zawatski (Skrysak); his former wives, Carmen Rightmire and Carmen Zawatski of Benton; his children, Sarah Zawatski of Nanticoke and Matthew Zawatski (Joline Makhaye) of Scranton; his siblings, Robert Zawatski (Maryann) of Shickshinny, Ronald Zawatski (Trudy) of Shickshinny, Christine Feno of Dallas, Mary Ellen Rudenko (Douglass) of Hazelton, Agnes Zawatski of Shickshinny and Eileen Johnston (Richard) of Hatboro; and his grandsons, Jude Sims of Nanticoke and Jaxson Hamilton of Nanticoke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mayo Funeral Home (77 Main St, Shickshinny, PA 18655). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Faustina Kowalska Parish (150 Main St, Mocanaqua, PA 18655).
