It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Baer of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Baer (Lester) and Gertrude Baer (Haas); his wife Gloria Baer (Lanning); and his siblings, Evelyn Davenport, Willard Baer, William Baer and Glenn Baer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darcy Baluka (Daniel) of South Carolina and Diane Marvin (Eugene) of Shickshinny; his grandchildren, Candice Taylor (David), Stephen Baluka (Kymmie), Tonya Cumberland (Chris) and Joelle Brandes (Brett); and his great grandchildren, Daelyn, Jesse Taylor, Skylar, Abigail Baluka, Caleb, Garrett and Cadence Cumberland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
