Elizabeth Smoker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Smoker (Shillington, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Elizabeth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elizabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman H. Focht and Carrie E. Focht (Flickinger). She is survived by: her husband J. Richard Smoker; her children, Keith Robert Smoker (Jeanie) and Beth Marie (Mark Lerario); her grandchildren, Christian James Smoker (Kera Palm), Elise Marie Lerario (Jamie Wagner) and Paul Anthony Lerario; and her great grandchild Kaliel.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel United Church of Christ (99 S Waverly St, Shillington, PA 19607). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
