As we bid Gretchen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gretchen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Bybel, Sr.; her parents, Paul W. Dunkelberger and Ethel Dunkelberger (Ibach); and her sister Mary Cafoncelli. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Bybel, Jr. (Ann Marie Bybel) of Lancaster, Robert Bybel (Aksana V. Bybel) of Leesburg, Virginia and Gretchen Bybel. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bean Funeral Home (129 E Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
