It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hedwig Eva Borst of Shillington, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Hedwig may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hedwig touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James M. Borst; her son James T. Borst of Shillington; and her sister Marion Boulanger-McCoy (late Richard D. McCoy) of Reading. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews.
