He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Marvin Bitting and Emily L. Bitting (Mast); and his siblings, Howard, Emily, Carl, Richard and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Dayle I. Sensenig; his sons, Eric D. (Heidi H. Bitting) and David A. Bitting; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Neil and Elizabeth; and his nephews, William Young, Richard Bitting and Jeffrey Bitting.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (1 E Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.
