James L. Buchanan Obituary

He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Springer Buchanan; and his brothers, David Buchanan and William Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Jayne R. Calhoun; his children, Jay L. Buchanan (Lori) of Shinglehouse, Jill D. Buchanan of Pittsburgh and Julie R. Matthews (Scott) of Shinglehouse; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Buchanan (Emily Long), Dustin Buchanan (Elizabeth) and Jaymie Sutton (Ben); his great grandchildren, Jeffrey D. Buchanan and Rayne Buchanan; his sister Glenda Blair of Arizona; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Buchanan of Tennessee; and his goddaughter Aleehia Rose Faulkner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Faith Bible Church (8137 Main, Little Genesee, NY 14754). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
