She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram Metzler and Jennie Metzler (Snavely); her stepson Gene Diem; and her sister Marge Musser. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Diem; her stepchildren, Marie Shaum (Wilmer) of Columbiana, OH, Lester Diem (Dorcas) of Lebanon, Mervin Diem (Vera) of Chambersburg, Eunice Wadel (Nevin) of Richfield, PA, David Diem (Anna) of Leetonia, OH, Glen Diem of Shippensburg and Wayne Diem (Joyce) of Shippensburg; her sisters, Anna Mae Martin (Nelson) of Lititz, Rachel Schwartz (Michael) of Reading and Jane Valentine (Dick) of Orrtanna; her stepdaughter-in-law Voni Diem of Shippensburg; and her brother-in-law Paul Musser of Bethel. She is also survived by 52 grandchildren and 92 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvary Mennonite Church (559 Overcash Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
