It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Fay Nimmon of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Janet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Janet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn R. Jumper and Ruth P. Sheriff Jumper; her husband John Edward Nimmon; her children, Michele Gomez, Daniel Nimmon, Robin Lusignan and Scott Nimmon; and her siblings, Chester Jumper and Joanne Finkey. She was also cherished by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Presbyterian Church (111 W Big Spring Ave, Newville, PA 17241). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
