We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2025, at the age of 81, Nancy Elizabeth Mellott (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nancy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Hall and Helen Hall (Mangle); her husband Jack G. "Digger" Mellott; and her brother Ronnie Mangle. She is survived by: her children, Michele R. Brandt (Carl) of Shippensburg, Susan Robinson (Warren) of Newburg, Shanda L. Mellott of Waynesboro, Donna Swanger (Wade Gettysburg) and Jack G. Mellott, Jr. (Sharon) of Roxbury; and her sister Betty Fogelsanger of Chambersburg. She is also survived by nine granddaughters; one grandson; four great granddaughters; four great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. (112 W King St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at the Spring Hill Cemetery (114 N Morris St, Shippensburg, PA 17257).
