It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Bilger of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick and Catherine Elizabeth Bilger (Goloff); and his brothers, Robert Bilger and John Bilger. He is survived by: his children, Sheri Reed (Brian) of Shippensburg, Catherine Neil (Jeremy Neil, Sr.) of Chambersburg and Wayne Bilger (Tara) of Newville; and his siblings, Kathy Diehl, Madeline McBeth and Joseph Bilger (Sherrie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (51 Asper Dr, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Bilger family kindly requests that, contributions may be made in William's honor in form of taking it upon yourself to do a random act of kindness towards a stranger.
