He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Brooks and Lila Belle Brooks; his sister Virginia; and his half-brother Billy Redd. He is survived by: his wife Judith Brooks; his children, Will Brooks (Barb) and Julia Brooks (Joellen); his stepchildren, Juanita Wolfe, Chris Betras (Jody), Ann Hargenrader (Tom) and Valerie Causey (Darrin); and his nephew Tom Redd (Jackie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
