He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Baum and Janice Baum (Hutchings); his stepmother Betty Baum; and his brothers, Clarence "Butch" Baum and James Baum.
He is survived by: his significant other Marjorie Worzel; his son Philip Baum, Jr.; his stepson Phil; his children, Charlie Worzel Jr., Don Worzel (Tammy), Patty Lauer (Ron) and Terry DeGroat; his grandchildren, Dawn Lauer, Melissa Johnson, Diana Groysman, William Worzel, Jeffrey DeGroat, Austin Baum and Brandon Baum; and his pet Scotty. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stroyan Funeral Home (405 W Harford St, Milford, PA 18337). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stroyan Funeral Home, Inc. (405 W Harford St, Milford, PA 18337). A reception was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Shohola Volunteer Fire Department (325 PA-434, Shohola, PA 18458).
