She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Southerland and Elizabeth Southerland (Irvin). She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Irvine Chandler, Teresa Marie Balcom and Jack Russell Balcom; and her siblings, Dorothy Leedy Peters and Russell Alexander Southerland. She is also survived by two step-daughters; a step-son; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.
