He is survived by: his wife Cindy Simms Aherne of Shrewsbury; his children, Michael Aherne, Jr. (Monica) and Kelsi Gornick (Brandon); his grandchildren, Branson, Lily, Hope and Mykayla; and his sister Mary Streeter (Scott).
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. (24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
