He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton "Dean" Summerson and Arlene "Jean" Bair Summerson; and his brother Sydney "Sid" Summerson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dexter; his daughters, Kimberly Saline (Michael) and Diana Heeren (Cornelius); and his brother Dennis Summerson.
