She was predeceased by : her husband Richard Diehl; her parents, Clarence Kern and Mary Kern (Holtzer); her son Tracy Diehl; and her brothers, Wayne and Richard Kern.

She is survived by : her daughters, Debra Ziegler (Robert) and Cheryl Ehret (Diehl); her grandchildren, Ryan Ziegler (Sam), Kyle Ziegler (Geena), Brad Ehret and Brent Ehret; her great grandchildren, Quintin Ziegler, Phoebe Ziegler, Noah Ehret and Annalise Ziegler; and her siblings, Edward Kern (Linda), David Kern (Sue), Bruce Kern, Janice Brown (James) and Pamela Dankanich (Michael).
