Though Frederick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frederick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother Eric Steckel. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hall; and his brother Paul Steckel (Marilyn) of Slatington. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
However, in an unfortunate turn of events, he developed a rare autoimmune disease with symptoms similar to Parkinson's disease, which severely limited his mobility and independence—though thankfully not his mental faculties.
