He is survived by: his children, Lori L. Sturdik (John F. Dotter) of Slatington and Gerald L. Jr. (Wendy) of Palmerton; his grandchildren, Adam L. Sturdik of Slatington, Dalton D. Dotter of Slatington, Kevin L. Borger of Bowmanstown and Heather L. (Brett Dreher) of Palmerton; his great grandchild Ryder L. Borger; and his sister Gloria Bartholomew of Mahoning Township. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gerald's memory to The American Cancer Society. Checks can be made payable to The American Cancer Society and may be mailed to Harding Funeral Home at 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington, PA 18080.
